• Welcome! I'm Faye and I have been capturing and preserving life's important moments for over 18 years. Over the years I have photographed a variety of subjects. However, I'm most passionate about families and weddings. I'm confident my experience, compassion for others and my obsession for gorgeous light will result in beautiful heirloom photos to be cherished for lifetimes to come. Hello blog readers!  Meet Tina and Brian!   You guys….I know I say I’m excited a LOT on here about photos and the people in them.   But this time…..I’m REALLY EXCITED!   You see Brian is my little brother!  lol…okay okay…he’s not “my” baby brother, but he’s my brother in law and he’s the youngest of Andy’s siblings.  And since all my brothers are older….it’s fun to get to say I have a baby brother.  ANYWAY…..Brian and Tina have been dating for quite a while and I started hoping a year or two ago that he would ask her to marry him.  And I’m not the only one in the family who’s had their fingers crossed and rooting for Tina.   Actually just the last couple months at home  I started referring to Tina as “Aunt Tina” and told my girls they can start calling her that.  You see…Tina is WONDERFUL!  A total sweet heart and we adore her.  She’s as lovely in person as she is in these photos.  And Brian….well I like to give him a hard time, but he’s a great guy!

I mentioned the idea of a snowy engagement photography session here in the Dayton Ohio area and they were on board.  We weren’t able to make it out till about 5 days after the snow fell and I was really wanting a location with some untouched snow.  Luckily Tina suggested her parents back year which is gorgeous and goes on for forever!  It was the perfect setting.   Wanna know what else…Brian does NOT like photos…he and Andy are a lot alike in that department.  Actually  I know a lot of guys that don’t enjoy photos.  However Brian went above and beyond my ideas and it was So fun to see these two so smitten together!  I tried to narrow down my favorites  for the blog.

Brian and Tina I’m SO happy for you and can’t wait for your wedding this summer!

Hello world!  Meet Zara!  Here she is 9 days new!   This sweet girl is so beautiful!  And all that gorgeous hair!!!!  I have to tell you that I really don’t remember hearing her cry.  If and when she did it was only for a tiny bit!   Her mama had lots of gorgeous headbands and swaddle wraps for me to play with along with my collection. Remember Roohi, Jordan and Zayd?  If not you really should click here for their family maternity session!  Here they are now….a happy party of four!  Zayd is now a big brother and what a wonderful big brother he is!  He ADORES Zara as you will see in this newborn session!  He’s always wanting to give his baby sister kisses!  This sweet girl in such good hands!  Her parents are seasoned pros now with their second baby, big brother is there to love on her AND on top of that her mama’s a pediatrician. I see you looking at me!  🙂So much big brother love and snuggles!  I bet he protects her his whole life! Roohi and Jordan thank you again!  It truly has been an honor and a pleasure photographing each of your milestone family moments.  I am so happy for you!  I love it when good blessings happen to good people!  Roohi I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we can schedule an extended family session in the next year or two when your sister’s in town.   Till then I love to be able to keep up with you guys and see the kids grow via facebook!   I wish you guys all the best….and as much sleep as you can get 😉
